To make getting a web site designed easier for you, all communication can be done via the phone and of course email. There is no requirement for you to visit us in person. Upon completion of your site, and on request, Luvkins Graphica will arrange a time and place to meet with to discuss your site and it's functionality if neccessary. Again, this can be done successfully via the phone and email.   

1. First step will be to work out what you want and write down all ideas as they come to mind. This will assist us in providing you with an accurate quote as well as giving us a detailed indication of what you want your site to be like. It is a good idea to note down sites that you like and DON'T like including colour schemes, functionality and layout.

2. If you already have website hosting, you will need to ensure that your hosting account has PHP Version 4.1 or later available to you as well as a MySQL database activated. You can find out this information by contacting your hosting company. Luvkins Graphica will also require your FTP and Hosting Control Panel Login details. Again, available from your hosting company. Alternatively, if you don't have hosting as yet, Luvkins Graphica can organise this upon request.

3. Once a schedule has been set for your web site design, you will be able to login and view your site as it develops. From time to time, we will require content and information for your site. Normally 1-2 weeks after design commences. The quicker we receive this the better.

4. View your site during the design phase on a regular basis (every 3 or 4 days) and communicate any changes you may require to us either by phone or email 

5. Generally, your web site hosting will not need to be activated until 72 hours prior to your site being uploaded. You will be notified when this needs to occur.

How long does it normally take to have my site up and running live on the internet? This will all depend on the complexity of your site and whether your content is available as per the design schedule. From past experience, sites normally take between 4 and 8 weeks.

Do i have to pay a monthly fee to Luvkins Graphica to keep my website going? No. Luvkins Graphica does not charge any ongoing fee's to run your website. Charges or fee's relating to hosting and domain name registrations will however be charged by your nominated hosting and registration companies. This is normal practice.

The idea for my site is Confidential, will you tell other people about it before it goes live on the web? No. All information and design specifications regarding your site will be kept confidential and your site will not be made live or available to anyone other than Luvkins Graphica representatives until you are ready.

Will you sign a confidentiality agreement? Yes, providing our legal department has no objections.

I don't have a logo to be used on the site. Can you design me one? Yes. All sites designed by Luvkins Graphica include a "Web Header" logo to be used throughout the site. Please note that the Web Header logo is not designed to be printed or used on other mediums and you will not be provided with raw artwork. If you require a Professional Logo for other purposes, please see our Graphic Design section on this site.

Can i get other people to make changes on my site at a later date? Yes. Luvkins Graphica maintains a "Not Locked" policy on your site so that you or anyone else you provide login access to can update and change your pages whenever and wherever you like.

Will my site show up on Google and how much will this cost? Your site will definately show up on Google and this will cost you NOTHING! Indexing to Google and other search engines can take time however Luvkins Graphica has the ability to speed up this process. There are many factors involved in determining where your site will rank. From past experience, all Luvkins Designed sites are listed in the top 5 and our clients didn't pay anything!

Do you keep a copy of my website in case something goes wrong? No. We do however provide you with a complete backup of your site upon design completion. You will also be sent regular database backups automatically by your website to your nominated email address. These backups should be stored by you in a safe place.
